Setup
Add the Huff connector to Claude, sign in, and try your first prompts.
What you need first
- An active Huff account that belongs to an organization. If you do not have one, see Signing in.
- At least one market on that organization. You can connect without one, but searches return nothing. See Choosing markets.
- A Claude plan that supports connectors.
Add the connector
The server URL is https://api.huffintel.com/mcp. Claude finds the sign-in page from it, so you do not need a client ID or an API key.
- In Claude, open Customize > Connectors. Some versions of Claude call this Settings > Connectors.
- Browse the connector directory and find Huff.
- Choose Connect and sign in.
If Huff is not listed for you yet, add it as a custom connector using the steps in the other tabs.
How sign-in works
- Claude opens the Huff sign-in page at
app.huffintel.com. Sign in as you normally do. Claude never sees your password. - If Huff's terms have changed since you last accepted them, accept them.
- Huff shows a consent page that names the app, your email, and your organization, and lists what the app will be able to do.
- Choose Allow. You return to Claude, and the connector is ready.
The connection is yours alone. See Authentication for the details.
Turn it on in a chat
Choose the + button at the lower left of the chat, then Connectors, and make sure Huff is on.
Huff marks every tool as read-only or not, so Claude can run reads and ask you before a write. Your Claude settings decide when it asks.
Example prompts
- "Show me new projects in my markets this week."
- "Which companies are on that site, and is anyone on my team already pursuing it?"
- "Start pursuing the largest one and add its developer to my Companies."
- "Plan a route to the sites I'm pursuing tomorrow, in the shortest order."
- "Move that lead to Quoted and log a call with the site superintendent from this morning."
